In a prior video (https://youtu.be/7_NNlnH7sAg), I introduced you to the basics of the Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) in AWS. But what’s with all those different IP addresses (Private, Public, Elastic), and how does CIDR notation work?

In this video, I’ll explain in simple terms how it all works. We’ll see the differences between the types of IP addresses, and then get into details of CIDR notation (subnet masks and RFC 1918 ranges) and how that all works.
