For our PowerPoint calendar tutorial, we’ll use the premium Envato Elements template that you can download above. With the template open in PowerPoint, we’ll build a PowerPoint calendar animation design. Begin by finding the month of the year you want to use. The colorful squares represent key dates. Place these on your milestones to bring focus to them.
Next, add custom text to focus on your message. Select the contents of a text box, and then type over them. Repeat across your calendar slides, ensuring that your audience has all the information they need visible to them.
You can explore different layouts. For example, this template lets you make a calendar timeline in PowerPoint featuring multiple months. As you work, check out new color options too. Click on shapes, and then go to Shape Format / Shape Fill. There you can browse and click to apply bright new shades.
Finally, you can add a PowerPoint animation. Click on a PowerPoint calendar, and then go to the Animations tab. There, you can explore animation effects. Click on one to apply it to your calendar.
