SPINX Digital is happy to announce that our work with law firm, Quinn Emanuel has earned multiple Best-in-Class awards in web design from the Interactive Media Awards (IMA) committee.
Nabbing top honors in both the ‘Legal’ and ‘Professional Services’ categories, the judges for the IMA awarded us an overall score of 496 out of a possible 500 points.
The competition was run by the Interactive Media Council (IMC), a nonprofit whose mission is to raise the standards of excellence on the internet. Its members hail from such distinguished companies as American Express, CNNMoney.com, Microsoft, Ogilvy & Mather and more.
The SPINX team was very excited to hear the news. President and CEO, Sukesh Jakharia reacted, “We are elated to have been honored with such prestigious awards – especially among so many other wonderful websites in the categories. Looking back, I can say with confidence that all the hours our team devoted to executing Quinn Emanuel’s vision were worth it.”
Additionally, SPINX has been notified that Quinn Emanuel’s site is now nominated for the IMA’s Website of The Year for 2014. The winner will be announced in April.

The work
Creating a website for Quinn Emanuel posed a unique challenge. With a work force of over 700 attorneys specializing in 30 areas of law and dispersed through 9 countries, the law firm needed a website that communicated a vast amount of information without overwhelming the user.
Quinn Emanuel partner, A.William Urquhart stated, “We wanted a website that was different from other law firms, but delivered our message in a way that sophisticated purchasers of legal services would like. SPINX delivered.”
As a solution, we focused on site navigation. By building separate category pages that all clearly interlink, users could easily find their desired topic, whether it was a particular attorney, area of law, or company location.
The result was an elegant and creative web design that catered to user experience.
