Lisa Gade reviews the OnePlus 9, the more affordable of two Android phones OnePlus released in spring 2021. The OnePlus 9 runs Android 11 on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 CPU with your choice 128GB or 256GB storage. Like the OnePlus 9 Pro, it features cameras co-developed with Hasselblad, and has a 48MP main camera and the same 50MP ultrawide as the Pro, but no telephoto lens. The smartphone is available unlocked or from T-Mobile in the US and it supports 5G (carrier support varies). It has a flat 6.55” OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 65 watt super fast Warp wireless charging and it supports 15 watt Qi wireless charging. It competes with the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE.
