About the Webinar

There’s a lot of discussion out there about diversity in tech—because the problem is here RIGHT NOW!

If you’ve ever found yourself frustrated by the tech landscape, wondering why there aren’t more businesses and companies that you can relate to, or more leaders who look like you, or more opportunities for growth in your field, this roundtable is for you.

Join us and our partners digitalundivided and The Latinista, along with Skillcrush alum turned Tech Marketing Lead at LinkedIn, Preethi Sundaram, as we spend an hour talking openly about the experiences of women, especially women of color, in tech.

We’re going to cover as many of your questions about gender, diversity, inclusion, and transparency as possible—because conversation is everything.

Some Issues We’ll Cover:

  • General issues with diversity and inclusion in the tech industry
  • How to handle natural feelings of self-doubt when you’re the only woman of color (even the only woman) in the room
  • How to face the gender and diversity problems in tech head-on—and keep on going
  • Mentorship, sponsorship, and how you can get involved
  • Diversity initiatives you can introduce at your current company
  • Business resources for underrepresented founders, solopreneurs and small business owners, along with other support groups and digital communities
