Multi-factor authentication, or MFA, adds an additional layer of security to your AWS account, by requiring a second form of authentication (such as a code or a hardware token) in order to access your account.

In this video, we spend a couple minutes talking about the concepts behind MFA. And then in a hands-on tutorial, I’ll walk you through how to enable MFA through the AWS Management Console. It’s easier than you think. Once enabled, we’ll log out and log back into the Console to see that experience.
