Cato Networks and GCX Partner to Launch Managed SASE Platform

Cato Networks and GCX have announced a collaboration to deliver a managed secure access service edge (SASE) platform designed to simplify networking and security for global enterprises. The service integrates Cato’s SASE Cloud architecture with GCX’s global network underlay, providing businesses with the ability to manage both security and connectivity functions through a single unified interface.

The joint platform aims to address rising demand for performance, availability, and scalable security, particularly in industries such as finance, manufacturing, and hospitality.

By consolidating network and security tools, the managed service seeks to reduce complexity, strengthen resilience, and support enterprises in securely adopting emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence.

Cato’s Architecture

Mark Draper, Vice President of Channel Sales for EMEA at Cato Networks, described the move as a way to give enterprises greater control while easing operational burdens. He emphasized that the partnership combines Cato’s cloud-native SASE infrastructure with GCX’s expertise in global managed services to create a more flexible offering.

Lorenzo Romano, CEO of GCX Managed Services, framed the initiative as part of a customer-first strategy in a rapidly expanding market. He pointed to Cato’s architecture as an enabler for GCX’s managed security ambitions, positioning multinational corporations to better navigate regulatory and operational challenges.

The partnership follows GCX’s appointment of Luca Simonelli, Cato’s former vice president for EMEA, to lead international alliances and expand the company’s partner ecosystem. Simonelli, who took on the role in July, is now driving operations in Italy and contributing to GCX’s broader global growth strategy.
