TD SYNNEX has announced a new strategic collaboration agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS), aimed at accelerating the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI), cloud migration, modernization, and marketplace growth across North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
The agreement underscores TD SYNNEX’s growing role in the AWS ecosystem while extending resources and investment support to small and midsize businesses (SMBs), independent software vendors (ISVs), and mid-market partners throughout the Americas.
Through the new SCA, TD SYNNEX will provide partners with enhanced access to AWS services and tools, allowing them to expand their AI and cloud portfolios. The agreement also aims to make AWS Marketplace programs more accessible to ISVs, helping them monetize faster and connect with new customer segments. For many partners, particularly smaller firms with limited resources, this could lower barriers to entry and accelerate cloud and AI adoption at scale.
The collaboration builds on an existing SCA between TD SYNNEX and AWS in Europe, reflecting a deepening global relationship between the two companies. TD SYNNEX already holds a range of AWS specializations and program designations, including Migration and Modernization, Cloud Operations, Education and Government, and Amazon EC2 for Windows Server Delivery. It also supports AWS Partners through its StreamOne global cloud platform, offering consumption management, AWS Marketplace procurement, and end-to-end lifecycle support.
The company’s portfolio of enablement programs – including Destination AI, Cloud Labs, and its AI Accelerator Practice Builder – will be expanded under the agreement. These initiatives provide technical training, go-to-market support, and resources that help partners develop and monetize AI and cloud solutions.
Reyna Thompson, President of North America at TD SYNNEX, emphasized the value of the agreement in addressing partners’ challenges. “Our partners are under increasing pressure to modernize while navigating limited financial resources, rapidly evolving AI and cloud landscapes, and complex marketplace environments,” she said. “Through our SCAs with AWS, TD SYNNEX is uniquely positioned to help partners overcome these challenges with service-led expertise and support.”
AWS Innovation Meets TD SYNNEX Partner Network
For Latin America and the Caribbean, the agreement is also expected to drive regional growth. “This agreement underscores the credibility of our team and confidence in our strategic direction,” said Otavio Lazarini, President of TD SYNNEX in Latin America and the Caribbean. “It will allow us to accelerate business development in the region and provide our partners with cutting-edge technology to take their operations to the next level.”
The partnership has already demonstrated tangible benefits for smaller organizations. John Zemonek, Founder and CEO of Aligned Technology Group, noted how TD SYNNEX’s AWS expertise simplified engagement for smaller firms. “They helped us create a roadmap that made partnering with a global leader like AWS easier,” he said. “The continued investment through the AWS SCA will only strengthen our ability to deliver innovative solutions that drive real impact for our customers.”
AWS echoed the significance of the collaboration. “Our work with TD SYNNEX brings together AWS innovation and their extensive partner network, creating new opportunities for businesses across the Americas on their cloud and AI journeys,” said Brian Bohan, Director, Consulting COE at AWS.
The agreement highlights how distributors and hyperscale cloud providers are jointly shaping the pace of digital transformation across the Americas. By streamlining access to AWS resources, TD SYNNEX and AWS aim to broaden participation in AI and cloud adoption, from startups and SMBs to enterprises seeking faster modernization and stronger business outcomes.
