First of all, what is Dogecoin? It’s one of many cryptocurrencies that went through a massive price surge in the past 6 months.
The cool thing is that you can easily mine Dogecoin on your PC, and it’s still quite profitable: You can make anywhere from $1 to $4-5 a day with an average home or office PC, especially if you have a decent graphics card.
One of the things I love about Dogecoin mining is that it’s 100% automated, so you can leave your computer running and it will keep mining the coins for you, even while you’re doing something else.
The first step is to install the Dogecoin miner software called “Unmineable”, you can download it from their website. Unmineable is a very popular Doge coin mining site, and you can run their software on any computer. If you get any messages from your anti-virus software, then you will need to instruct your antivirus to allow Unmineable to install. Antivirus software usually thinks that crypto mining software is either a virus or a trojan program.
Then, you will need to get a Dogecoin wallet, so that Unmineable can pay you for your mining results. The simples way to get a Dogecoin wallet is to go to the official Dogecoin website and get the Dogecoin Core wallet from there. Once you get the wallet, you can go to File/Much and you will get your Doge Coin wallet ID there.
You will then need to paste your Dogecoin Wallet ID into the Unmineable software, and you’re ready to start mining some Dogecoin!
Unmineable will pay you out once you hit 30 DOGE in your account. They will pay you straight into the wallet that you provide to them. After that, you can sell Dogecoin for USD or you can swap it for any other cryptocurrency. Alternatively, of course, you can HODL (keep holding it hoping it will go up in price, which it has before).
