Identity and Access Management (IAM) is one of the core services in Amazon Web Services (AWS). Without IAM, you really don’t have a viable cloud solution. IAM allows you to secure your AWS resources, controlling authentication (the “who”) and authorization (what they can do).
In this video, using a mix of slides and hands-on demos, I’ll provide an overview of IAM and its four main constructs: users, groups, roles and policies (and how to attach them).
